A new version of StudentBerry has been released! We
apologize for the temporary leave of absence, but we should be back on
track now.

Installing this update will cause all previously saved data
within StudentBerry to be lost. We made substantial changes to the
database in order to support desktop sync and therefore were unable to
preserve the data. If you have data within StudentBerry that currently
cannot be lost, please do not install this update until a more
convenient time!

V1.0.803068 - Added desktop backup option to StudentBerry

  • A desktop sync backup solution is now available
    • This feature is not activated immediately due to limitations within
      the Desktop Manager software. To activate it, you will need to select
      “Backup and Restore” and then “Advanced”. You can now set the
      StudentBerry database to be backed up.
  • Fixed an incompatibility with BlackBerry OS V 4.3. Users of the 4.3
    OS will need to install the correct version of StudentBerry. This is
    done automatically by heading on over to http://m.StudentBerry.com. For
    the manual intstall, you will need to select the 4.3 version of
    StudentBerry.

hi, I have a question about this, although I am very happy to be able to back up my info, I'd like to kno if this is something that I have to do everysingle time I back up my phone?

in other words, I have my Desktop Manager automatically back up my phone every 3 days, do I have to go to advanced and manually back up StudentBerry? or will it do it after I've done it once, will it keep including it in the back up?

Once you add StudentBerry to be synced in desktop manager it should remember to sync it each time.

well, I just had to do a master reset on my BB and it will not put my info back on there,

once I got to advanced back up it will show the info in the PC but then when I try and send it to the handheld it will act as if it's doing it, and then the Studentberry on my phone still has nothing in it, I take out the battery and still nothing

:(

any ideas on what I can do, I've had to input my info at least 5 times now!

I backed up my info that took me so long to put into the BB since I can't type it thru the PC it has to be on the phone, but funny thing happened today, I had to wipe my phone and when I tried restoring all my info well all of it did go back except for the STUDENTBERRY absolutely nothing came back!

I went to advanced then on the screen with the two white separate screens, I can see the student berry backup file, and when I transfer it over to the phone it even warns me that the info will be replaced with what I see on the screen and after accepting it, I NEVER SEE A SINGLE THING!

now I tried EVERYTHING I could possibly do and/or think of, I've pulled the battery, I re-registered my application, I REWIPED!! my phone just to try and fix this but to no avail! I also reinstalled my entire desktop manager and it will NOT PUT MY INFORMATION BACK!

now I can see that there is a few entries, although not the specifics since we can't access this thru the PC but when I transfer it will look like it is indeed doing that , but it will never show up on my phone!

I was so confident that all my info would be secure that I even erased all my other info and now I have nothing!

I have spent the entire day trying to fix this and nothing.

I am extremely disappointed in this, and I would really like some help in fixing this–and I hope there IS something that can fix this, but meanwhile I'm scr**d!!!!!!!! and very mad.

I will keep trying but I hope someone can get back to me ASAP.

I just tried to purchase your program from HANDANGO (the failed to take my money). Said my order was too big and they would get back to me. $16.66 (20% discount).


Anyways the version they are sending people is out of date

Thanks for bringing this to our attention JCKATZ, we will work with handango on getting the version they have updated as quickly as possible. There is also a new version being pushed to the public (after a longer than expected testing period) fixing the problem posted above yours. Backup feature now works entirely!
